Mobile phones: We discourage people from bringing phones on weekends and if you do bring one it is entirely at your own risk – we’ve had a couple of incidents where people have lost or damaged them before. If you have a phone it should be away in your bag during hikes and not used for music or anything else except in an emergency. They can be used in the evening to quickly contact home, but anyone seen sitting playing on them will be asked to put it away and join in with activities. Parents, if your Scout phones home and tells you that they have a problem or are worried about something, please make sure that they (or you) also tell us!
